A Wild & Common Place is an experiential apothecary-land share that unfolds with the seasons over the course of the year. With each season, you receive a box: a blend of seasonally-specific herbal remedies, preserved wild foods, writing, educational handouts and artwork. These products and their accompanying treasures are hand-crafted in real time from sustainably foraged and grown plants on the land where Foliage Botanics sits, small expressions of the story of this place. They are intended to help you build your apothecary and your herbal allies, broaden your experience of plants and their medicine potential, promote seasonal well-being, and strengthen your connection to place.

As the year progresses, the boxes and their contents weave a story of a piece of land and the life on it—a place where lambs are born and lost, where beavers dam the creek at the bend where wild rose and angelica grow and the deer come to drink, where stories and lives intertwine with astounding normalcy as they do everywhere, on any piece of land. These boxes are an attempt to witness, steward, share, and ambassador the voices of the wild and common place I call home and inspire greater understanding and connection and ecological conversation wherever you may reside.

In each box comes 4-6 bottles and tins of mindfully crafted plant medicines and products, a letter/story of the season, and a booklet delving deeper into the herbs—a mix of recipes, stories, nature-based musings, and drawings, among other tidbits of magic and mystery from the land.
